Holly Passmore
Industry guest speaker, MA Interior Design
Holly studied Psychology at The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, and graduated with a First Class Honours in 2020. It was here that she grew a keen interest as to how environments influence health and wellbeing. One research area of particular interest concentrates on increasing wellbeing opportunities within interior and exterior educational spaces, particularly with young children.
Over the last two years, Holly has conducted some research to better understand this, and has presented at UK-wide virtual, and in person, events. Much of the time, they have been making the case for inclusive learning environments for disadvantaged children with additional support needs, and experiences of trauma. Holly is now in the process of establishing her own consultancy business, connected to her research interests, to help towards the growing field of design for health and wellbeing.
