Ian is the National Sales Manager UK and Ireland at Franklite, an award winning manufacturer, designer and distributor of high-quality decorative lighting.
Lighting industry expert Ian Cathcart has over three decades of experience. Over the course of his career he has been instrumental in developing and introducing new technologies and controls.
Working with blue chip companies such as OSRAM Ltd and Seoul Semiconductors, he has refined his knowledge and understanding of lighting fixture and development.
He has also presented numerous lectures for various associations affiliated with the lighting industry.
Since working with Franklite, Ian has had the opportunity to experience all facets of the lighting sector. The scope of his knowledge now encompasses everything from LED components to floodlights, from lamps to and controls to domestic fixtures.
